Maine's Spencer Abbott, Jack Connolly of Minnesota-Duluth and Colgate's Austin Smith are the finalists for this year's Hobey Baker award.
The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Foundation identified the three seniors Thursday from a list of 10 candidates for the award honoring college hockey's best player.
Abbott leads the nation in scoring and assists, with 21 goals and 41 assists. He has signed with the Maple Leafs.
