The Maple Leafs announced Thursday that the club has signed forward Philippe Dupuis and defenceman Matt Lashoff to one-year contracts, respectively. Dupuis, 26, played his first full NHL season with the Avalanche in 2010-11. In 74 games, the forward registered six goals, 11 assists and 17 points, along with 40 penalty minutes. He ranked second among Avalanche rookies in points and second among forwards in hits (128). In 86 career NHL games, all with Colorado, he has earned 18 points on six goals and 12 assists with 46 minutes in penalties. Lashoff, 24, played 11 games for the Maple Leafs this past season collecting one assist and six penalty minutes. He also played 69 games for the AHL’s Toronto Marlies and collected 28 points on seven goals and 21 assists along with a team high 137 penalty minutes.
