General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have signed forward Chris Durno. Durno had come to training camp on a tryout basis. Durno, 6.04 and 205 pounds, split last season between Gwinnett in the ECHL and Milwaukee in the AHL. He began the season with Gwinnett where he appeared in 13 games and scored 12 goals and 22 points. He was moved up to Milwaukee in the AHL where he played in 57 games scoring 20 goals and 40 points with 52 penalty minutes. In the playoffs, he appeared 21 games and had 2 goals and 4 points with 18 penalty minutes.
