Canadiens defenseman Andrei Markov will miss Tuesday's game against the Flyers with a lower-body injury.
French-language sports network RDS reported over the weekend that Markov would be out a minimum of three months.
He will undergo a series of tests this week to reveal the severity of the injury.
Markov appeared to hurt his right knee in an awkward spill during Saturday's 7-2 win over Carolina.
