Mark Recchi received an early birthday present from the NHL. The Penguins right wing was named one of the NHL's Three Stars of the Week on Monday. Blue Jackets rookie goaltender Fredrik Norrena was awarded the second star and Oilers All-Star left wing Ryan Smyth was named third star.
