Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Fedor Tyutin has been named to the Russian Olympic team that will compete at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia, the club announced Saturday. Tyutin, 26, notched one assist, four penalty minutes and a +2 plus/minus rating in eight games at the 2006 Olympic Games in Turin, Italy. He helped Russia win the gold medal at the 2008 World Championships as well as the 2002 and 2003 World Junior Championships. The Izhevsk, Russia native is in his sixth season in the NHL and has accumulated 25-92-117 and 258 penalty minutes in 370 career games with the Blue Jackets and New York Rangers.
