The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has recalled forwards Chris Durno and Brandon Yip from the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL. Yip missed the first two months of the season due to a hand injury suffered during a preseason game on Sept. 18 at St. Louis. He made his professional debut with Lake Erie on Dec. 1 and has gone on to record two goals in six games with the Monsters. Durno is being recalled for the fourth time this season. He has collected two points with a +2 plus/minus rating in nine games with the Avalanche this year. The Avalanche also announced that forwards Justin Mercier and Ryan Stoa have been reassigned to Lake Erie.
