Coyotes GM Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed defenseman Michael Stone to an entry level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. Stone, 19, is currently in his fourth season with the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL, where he has recorded 13-21-34 and 46 penalty minutes (PIM) in 32 games. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Stone is tied for 1st in scoring among all WHL defensemen and ranks 3rd on his team in points.
