He has been back at this NHL thing for about a week, but Coyotes forward Owen Nolan's bid to jump-start his career after a nearly two-and-a-half-year layoff is off to a promising start. Nolan, 34, enters the team's weekend trip to San Antonio and Dallas with two solid preseason outings on his post-knee injury r?sum?. "I'm going hard, and the knee feels great," Nolan said Wednesday night after playing 25 shifts, winning four out of five face-offs, taking five shots on goal, scoring two goals and blocking a shot to lead Phoenix to a 3-2 victory over Dallas. "There's been no problem with my knee whatsoever. I'm happy the way the first couple days have gone. I know there's room for improvement, but I'm glad to get the rust off."
