Adrian Aucoin jumped right into the fray for the Chicago Blackhawks. Back in the lineup after missing 11 games because of a groin injury, Aucoin scored a power-play goal with 7:02 left in the second period to help the Blackhawks beat the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 on Sunday night. Aucoin blasted a rising, screened shot past Jose Theodore to snap a 1-1 tie. It was a rare power-play score for Chicago, which entered the game with the NHL's third-worst conversion rate, 12.1 per cent. "It's been a little bit of frustration," Aucoin said. "I haven't played in a while. "The groin thing is probably a maintenance thing the rest of my career. There was probably a little bit of hesitation early, but I felt good as the game went a long."
