Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Alex Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals hold the two top spots among Eastern Conference vote-getters with 83,664 votes and 63,921 votes, respectively, in NHL All-Star Fan Balloting. More than 2.8 million votes were cast in the first six days of the all-digital voting program. The voting will determine the starting lineups for the 2007 NHL All-Star Game, which will be played on Wednesday, Jan. 24, in Dallas. Rounding out the top five in votes are goaltenders Ryan Miller (63,818 votes) of the Buffalo Sabres and Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils (59,386) and defenseman Brian Campbell (57,988) of the Sabres.
