Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Michael Barnett announced today that the Coyotes have signed unrestricted free agent center Yanic Perreault to a one-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed. In 12 NHL seasons with Toronto, Los Angeles, Montreal and Nashville, the 5-foot-11, 189 pound Perreault has played in 740 career NHL games, recording 217-247-464 and 344 penalty minutes. Perreault has also scored 56 career power play goals, 36 game-winning goals and nine shorthanded goals. In addition, he has played in 54 career playoff games, collecting 11-19-30.
