Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Michael Barnett announced today that the Coyotes have recalled goaltender David LeNeveu from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes? top minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). Barnett also announced that goaltender Mike Morrison, who cleared waivers today, has been assigned to San Antonio. LeNeveu, 23, played in 15 games with the Coyotes last season, collecting a 3-8-2 record, 3.24 goals against average (GAA), and .886 save percentage (SV%) in his first NHL experience. The 6-foot-1, 187-pound netminder has registered a 1-4-0 record, 3.92 GAA, and .887 SV% in 6 games with San Antonio this season. In 28 games with the Rampage in 2005-06, LeNeveu ranked 3rd in the AHL with a save percentage of .921.
