The Blackhawks won on successive nights for the third time this season, but it wasn't without some cost.
On Saturday, Martin Havlat went down with a groin injury. On Sunday, promising rookie Dave Bolland suffered a broken finger. Coach Denis Savard didn't know how long either would be out after Sunday's rousing victory.
"I knew [Havlat] wasn't right and couldn't play, but we had other things to worry about with our team for [the Edmonton game]," Savard said. "We'll find out more about him after Christmas. And Bolly's going to be out awhile. We'll be making a call-up."
The Hawks are off today and Tuesday. They'll have a morning skate on Wednesday before hosting Nashville that night.
