The Maple Leafs lost more than a game against the Canadiens on Saturday. Seconds before Montreal scored its fourth goal in a 4-1 victory, McCabe suffered a broken left hand and is expected to be sidelined six to eight weeks. McCabe collided with a Canadien along the right wing boards in the Maple Leafs' zone and crumpled to the ice. Favoring his left hand, the defenseman immediately skated off the ice and went directly to the locker room.
