Frederik Andersen of the Toronto Maple Leafs was injured during Denmark’s Olympic qualifier on Friday against Slovenia, putting his attendance at the upcoming World Cup of Hockey in doubt.

Andersen left the game late in the third period after he collided with teammate Oliver Bjorkstrand.

Andersen injured his shoulder and will be sidelined 1-2 weeks, putting his World Cup status for Team Europe up in the air.

Andersen signed a five-year, $25 million contract with the Leafs after being acquired from the Anaheim Ducks in June.
