The NHL has suspended Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri four games for his hit to the head of the Oilers' Matt Fraser.

Kadri confirmed the suspension at Toronto's practice Wednesday.

"I'm not happy about it, but what are you going to do at this point?" said Kadri, who will forfeit $141,463 in salary. "Obviously it wasn't my intent to injure the player and I hope he's doing all right."
