Steven Stamkos can't say his timeline has moved up because there's no specific return date set. But the Lightning forward is back on the ice, which is remarkable considering it's been just more than a month since he broke his tibia on Nov. 11.

Cameras caught him skating before the Lightning took the ice in Saturday practice prior to their loss to the Devils, and that wasn't even the first time he's been on the ice since crashing into the net in Boston.

"I've been on a couple times," Stamkos told ESPN The Magazine on Sunday.
