USA Hockey today announced its coaching staff for the 2007 U.S. Men?s National Team, including head coach Mike Sullivan, associate head coach Barry Smith and assistant coach David Quinn. Team USA will compete at the 2007 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship April 27-May 13 in Moscow, Russia. ?Our National Team Advisory Group did an excellent job in assembling an outstanding coaching staff,? said Jim Johannson (joh-HAHN-suhn), senior director of hockey operations at USA Hockey. ?Each of these coaches brings a unique perspective to the table and their combined experience will be a tremendous benefit in guiding our team at the World Championship.? USA Hockey?s National Team Advisory Group consists of National Hockey League general managers Brian Burke (Anaheim Ducks), David Poile (Nashville Predators), Ray Shero (Pittsburgh Penguins) and Don Waddell (Atlanta Thrashers).
