Johan Franzen suffered a broken nose on Friday during Sweden's 7-3 loss to Russia in the hockey world championships. Franzen was cross-checked in the face by Russia's Dmitri Kalinin at 14 minutes, 14 seconds, of the third period. "I just talked to him, (he has a) broken nose," said Red Wings general manager Ken Holland, who is in Helsinki, Finland, watching the other bracket of the tournament. "He sounded okay otherwise."
