Blackhawks center Marcus Kruger left Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Penguins after sustaining a check to the head by the Deryk Engelland in the first period. Kruger finished the opening 20 minutes taking several shifts after the hit and came out on the bench for the second period but could not continue. "He was on the bench in the second and had a couple times I called (for him). He didn't end up getting out there," coach Joel Quenneville said after the game. "Kruger is doing OK now. We'll see (Wednesday). We'll have a better idea on how he's doing. Tough hit, high hit, in tough area. He was in a tough spot."
