The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday that they have signed forward Joey Crabb to a one year contract. Crabb, 28, played in 48 games for the Maple Leafs during the 2010-11 season collecting 15 points on three goals and 12 assists, while adding 24 minutes in penalties. On March 19 the Anchorage, Alaska native scored a career-high three points (one goal, two assists) against Boston at Air Canada Centre. He also played in 34 games for the AHL’s Toronto Marlies registering 11 goals, seven assists and 18 points. The 6-1, 190-pound forward was selected to represent the AHL's Western Conference at the 2011 AHL All-Star game, but did not play due to his recall to the Leafs.
