Darwin Head, a 35-year-old sawmill worker and father of three from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, won the $1M grand prize on Wednesday in the Malibu Million Dollar Shootout. To claim the paycheck, Head scored 15 goals from the far blue line in 24 seconds during the first intermission of the Canucks-Avalanche game at General Motors Place, as reported by Yahoo.com.

Canucks' Krajicek Out For Season

Canucks' defenseman Lukas Krajicek will be sidelined for the remainder of the season, according to a report Tuesday by TSN of Canada. Citing Vancouver radio station CKNW, the report stated that Krajicek will undergo season-ending surgery this week.

It doesn?t bother Alex Burrows that he might not have many friends outside the Canucks? dressing room, according to a Yahoo Sports report. The feisty forward crashes and bangs. He?ll whack you on the ankle with his stick, then fill your ear with trash talk, in both official languages. Suffice to say he has a low approval rating among other players in the NHL, which is just fine with Burrows.
