The Minnesota Wild have traded Mikael Granlund to the Nashville Predators for Kevin Fiala.

Granlund, 26, has a $5.75 million cap hit and is under contract through the 2019-20 season. He has 15 goals and 49 points in 63 games this season.

Fiala, 22, is on the final year of his entry level contract and is a restricted free agent this summer. 

The Boston Bruins have acquired Marcus Johansson from the New Jersey Devils for a second round pick in 2019 and a fourth rounder in 2020.

In the final season of a three-year deal with a cap hit of $4.583 million, Johansson was an attractive rental leading up to the deadline. 

The Devils acquired Johansson for second- and third-round draft picks after he put up career highs of 24 goals and 58 points in 82 games for the Capitals in 2016-17.

The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired Mark Stone from the Ottawa Senators.

Vegas agreed to sign Stone to a contract extension with an annual average of $9.5 million. That number competes with some of the highest salaries in the league because Nevada has no state income tax.

Vegas traded defenseman Erik Brannstrom, 19, who was selected 15th overall in 2017 along with Oscar Lindberg and a second-round pick in 2019 that belonged to the Dallas Stars.

The San Jose Sharks have traded two draft picks to the Detroit Red Wings for Gustav Nyquist.

Nyquist, 29, is currently second on the Red Wings in scoring, with 49 points (16 goals, 33 assists) in 62 games. Nyquist will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.

"Gustav is a talented, versatile forward who plays with speed and a strong hockey sense," Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said. "His track record of strong play and character speak for themselves, and we're very excited to add him to our dressing room."

Detroit will receive the lower of San Jose's or Florida's 2019 second-round selections, along with San Jose's third-round selection in 2020. 

The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired Ryan Dzingel from the Ottawa Senators.

Columbus will also acquire a 2019 seventh-round pick previously owned by the Calgary Flames in exchange for Columbus's second-round pick in 2020, a second-round pick in 2021 and forward Anthony Duclair.

Dzingel, in his fourth NHL season, has 22 goals and 22 assists in 57 games

Dzingel played collegiately at Ohio State.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired Matt Duchene from the Ottawa Senators.

Ottawa will receive conditional first round picks in 2019 and 2010, along with prospects Vitalii Abramov and Jonathan Davidsson in return. The 2019 pick is top-three protected, and the 2020 pick is dependent on Duchene re-signing in Columbus.

Duchene is joining his third team in two seasons after being part of an early-season trade in 2017-18 that sent him to the Senators from the Colorado Avalanche.

The New York Rangers have traded Mats Zuccarello to the Dallas Stars for two conditional draft picks (a second rounder in 2019 and a third rounder in 2020.

The second-rounder becomes a first-round pick if the Stars make the third round of the playoffs and Zuccarello plays in at least 50 percent of the team's cumulative games over the first two rounds.

Zuccarello, 31, has 11 goals and 26 assists in 46 games this season. Zuccarello had 352 points in 509 career games.

The Washington Capitals upgraded their blue line Friday by acquiring defenseman Nick Jensen from the Detroit Red Wings.

Washington sent a 2020 second-round pick and defenseman Madison Bowey to Detroit for Jensen and a 2019 fifth-round pick.

Columbus has traded for Ottawa Senators center Matt Duchene, the Blue Jackets announced Friday.

Duchene is set to make his Blue Jackets debut against his old team, as Columbus plays at Ottawa on Friday night.

Minor league defenseman Julius Bergman is also heading to the Blue Jackets, while the Senators will receive conditional first-round draft picks in 2019 and 2020, and prospects Vitalii Abramov and Jonathan Davidsson in return. The 2019 pick is top-three protected, while the 2020 pick is dependent on Duchene re-signing in Columbus.

One potential trade chip appears to be off the market heading into Monday's deadline, with multiple reports saying forward Jakob Silfverberg and the Anaheim Ducks have reached agreement on a five-year extension.

The 28-year-old's new deal carries an annual average value of over $5 million, according to reports.
