The Colorado Avalanche have claimed center Marko Dano off waivers from Winnipeg.

The 23-year-old played in 23 games for the Jets last season with two goals and an assist. He was a first-round pick of Columbus in 2013.

The Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has claimed left wing Pontus Aberg on waivers from the Oilers.

Aberg, 25, has collected 18 points in 68 career NHL games with Nashville and Edmonton. Selected by the Predators in the second round (37th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.
