Coyotes GM Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have claimed forwards Tye McGinn and Craig Cunningham off waivers. The 24-year-old McGinn has registered 1-4-5 and 11 penalty minutes in 33 games with the Sharks this season. The 24-year-old Cunningham has recorded 2-1-3 in 32 games with the Bruins this season. |
The Maple Leafs announced Sunday that the club has claimed defenceman Tim Erixon off waivers from the Blackhawks.
Erixon, 24, has played for both the Blackhawks and Blue Jackets this season. The Port Chester, New York native was held pointless in eight regular season games with the Blackhawks and registered six points (one goal, five assists) in 19 regular season games with the Blue Jackets earlier this year. Erixon was originally drafted in the first round (23rd overall) by the Flames during the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
