The Sabres have claimed Zenon Konopka off waivers from the Wild, according to an ESPN.com report.

This is the seventh team for the 33-year-old forward, who also played for Anaheim, Columbus, Tampa Bay, Ottawa and the New York Rangers. He signed with Minnesota in July 2012.

The Penguins claimed left wing Taylor Pyatt off waivers from the Rangers on Thursday, according to an NHL.com report.

Pyatt had one assist, 10 penalty minutes and a minus-9 rating in 22 games this season before the Rangers placed him on waivers Wednesday.
