The Canadiens have locked up one of their core stars, signing winger Brendan Gallagher to a six-year contract extension, the club announced Saturday night.

The deal is worth an average of $3.75 million per season, a source told ESPN.com. 

Gallagher, 22, has five goals and 12 points in 24 games this season.

The Stars have signed center Jason Spezza to a four-year contract extension worth $30 million, the team announced Friday.

The deal also includes a no-trade clause, a source told ESPN.com on Friday.

The Bruins and coach Claude Julien have agreed on a multiyear contract extension, the team announced Sunday afternoon.

Julien, 54, is in his eighth season as coach of the Bruins and has led the team to seven consecutive playoff appearances, including two trips to the Stanley Cup finals.
