The 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs are now down to the final four teams.

 

In the West, the Stars and Golden Knights will face-off for the second time in three years.  With the Stars' Peter DeBoer coaching against his former team that fired him last season, this could prove to be an intriguing storyline throughout the series. I've been high on the Golden Knights since the start of the playoffs and feel they have the "depth" and "chemistry" to win this series and eventually raise the Cup.

 

In the East, the Panthers will need both Matthew Tkachuk and Sergei Bobrovsky to stay hot against the Hurricanes. Carolina has the home ice advantage in the series, but will need consistent overall team play, especially from the goalie position. The Hurricanes may get Teuvo Teravainen back from his hand injury.  I feel Carolina will advance to the finals.

 

 

Western Conference: Golden Knights over the Stars in 7-games

 

Eastern Conference:  Hurricanes over the Panthers in 6-games
