NHL Semifinals Predictions:  2-0

 

The resilient defending champion Lightning advance to the finals behind the stellar play of Andrei Vasilevskiy and Nikita Kucherov. The Bolts' ability on offense to dominant the shots on goal margin was too much for the Islanders to overcome.

 

The Lightning will meet the upstart Canadiens, who few predicted would be the Canadian team to have a chance to advance to the playoffs, much less the final series. Carey Price will have to continue his exceptional play in goal. Young Cole Canfield may help Montreal steal a game, or two, from Tampa Bay.
