The Lightning have signed free agent right wing Ryan Shannon to a one-year contract today, vice president and GM Steve Yzerman announced. Shannon played in 79 games with the Senators last season, recording 11 goals, five power-play goals and 27 points while averaging 12:55 in ice time per game. Shannon was tied for fifth among Senators forwards for points and fourth for assists as well as leading all Ottawa skaters with more than 25 games played in plus/minus. Shannon has played in 260 career NHL games with the Senators, Canucks and Ducks. He has produced 31 goals, 87 points, 13 power-play goals and three game-winning goals.
