The Lightning have re-signed goaltender Dwayne Roloson to a one-year contract today, vice president and GM Steve Yzerman announced. “We are happy to bring Dwayne back into the fold today,” Yzerman said. “He proved his worth both in the regular season and playoffs last year, bringing stability to our team. He is a proven veteran and we are pleased to have him back for the upcoming season.” “I’m extremely excited to return to the Lightning,” Roloson said. “It is a great organization and we had a great run last season. I’m looking forward to trying to do it again in 2011-12.” Roloson played in 34 games with the Lightning last season after being acquired on January 1, 2011. He went on to post an 18-12-4 record with a .912 save percentage, 2.56 goals-against average and four shutouts during the regular season.
