The Flyers have signed center Jeff Carter to an 11-year, $58 million contract extension, according a league source.
Carter, 25, was slated to restricted free-agent on July 1.
He scored a career-high 46 goals two years ago and had 33 goals last season.
Philadelphia selected Carter with the 11th overall pick in the first round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
