Kris Versteeg and Nazem Kadri are two newcomers expected to help the Maple Leafs. ?I don?t think anyone should expect me to dominate right off the start and just control the puck like I?ve been in the league four or five years,? said Kadri. ?I?m a young guy, I still have a lot to learn from all the other vets. The important thing is to just get progressively better and better each day.? Kadri said he has been working on his two-way game. It was one of his priorities when he returned to the junior London Knights after an excellent camp last year and he expressed optimism that he could quickly adapt to the big leagues. ?If you?re a two-way hockey player, all the way along through minor and through junior, the adjustment shouldn?t be too hard in the NHL,? he said. ?Obviously, guys are a lot faster and stronger but if you want to play here, you have to find a way to make it happen.?
