The Blue Jackets have signed forward Tomas Kubalik to a standard three-year entry level contract, GM Scott Howson announced today. As is club policy, terms were not disclosed. Kubalik registered 33 goals and 42 assists for 75 points, 95 penalty minutes and had a +16 plus/minus rating in 58 games with Victoriaville of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in 2009-10. ?Tomas had a very successful year in Victoriaville and we are looking forward to seeing him begin his professional career next fall,? Howson said. The 20-year-old native of Plzen, Czech Republic, was the Blue Jackets? sixth pick, 135th overall, in the 2008 Entry Draft.
