The Flyers' Dave Brown, director of player personnel, and Chris Pryor, director of hockey operations, were in Chicago scouting the Blackhawks' game against Dallas on Tuesday. It was "nothing, really," general manager Paul Holmgren said. For Brown, "it was a scheduled trip, and for Chris, he's trying to catch up with everybody. He has not seen a lot of pro games in a while." But Blackhawks assistant general manager Rick Dudley was in Tampa scouting the Flyers on Thursday. It's no secret around the NHL that if the Flyers could reverse the deal that brought Kyle Calder to Philadelphia for Michal Handzus, they would, even though Handzus is out for the season with a knee injury.
