The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed left wing Mike Blunden to a one-year, two-way NHL-American Hockey League contract, General Manager Scott Howson announced today. As is club policy, terms were not disclosed. Blunden, 23, collected 12-19-31 and 110 penalty minutes in 76 games with Syracuse and Rockford last season. Acquired by the Blue Jackets from Chicago in exchange for forward Adam Pineault on January 10, he has registered 33-50-83, 210 penalty minutes and a cumulative plus/minus rating of +9 in 178 career AHL games.
