Red Wings forward Marian Hossa will sit out the team's final two regular season games because of a groin injury.
Hossa had an MRI on Friday, and it revealed no tear after he left Thursday's night game with the injury.
"I felt a little pull when I went off the ice," Hossa said. "No sense this time of year to push it.
"I kind of went one way and their player kind of took my leg a little bit the other way and I felt a stretch and felt a little in the groin."
