The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed defenseman Rostislav Klesla on Injured Reserve with a lower body injury, club General Manager Scott Howson announced today. Klesla was hurt in the Blue Jackets? game at St. Louis on Saturday and is expected to be sidelined two to four weeks. Klesla has tallied one goal and four assists for five points with 21 penalty minutes and a +3 plus/minus rating, while averaging 21:26 of ice time in 19 games this season. Columbus' first pick, fourth overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft, he has registered 36-75-111 and 439 penalty minutes in 429 career games.
