Daryl Katz, new owner of the Oilers, says he will work to help build a new arena for the team and will craft a written commitment to keep the franchise in the Alberta capital, according to an Canadian Press report. Katz declined to assess the current state of the team or speculate on changes he would make, saying that would be premature given his offer still needs to be approved the by league.
