Dustin Penner was in the right place at the right time for the Edmonton Oilers.
Penner's second goal of the game, a power-play goal with 17.8 seconds to play in overtime, helped the Oilers snap a six-game losing skid with a 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday night.
Penner scored off the rebound of Jarret Stoll's shot from the point, beating Blues' goalie Hannu Toivonen with a spin-around goal on a 4-on-3 man-advantage.
"There's no question that with Stoll and [Sheldon Souray] back there [on the point], they're going to take shots and eventually, I kept the puck alive and I collected the rebound and put it in the net," said Penner, who has 12 goals this season.
