The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Wednesday that goaltender Scott Clemmensen has been recalled today from the Toronto Marlies on an emergency recall. Goaltender Vesa Toskala will not dress this evening due to a groin strain. Toskala is day-to-day. In 15 American Hockey League games with Toronto this season, Clemmensen has posted a record of 11 wins and four losses with a 2.60 goals against average and a .905 save percentage. The Marlies' 42 points lead the AHL's North Division by virtue of their 19-5-0-4 record.
