Injuries are suddenly mounting for the Blackhawks, who placed right wing Martin Havlat and promising rookie center Dave Bolland on injured reserve Wednesday. In Saturday's 4-3 win overtime win at Ottawa, Havlat, who missed 22 games after suffering a shoulder injury in the Blackhawks' season opener, went down again with a groin injury. The following night, Bolland, who has recorded a goal and five assists in 18 contests, suffered a broken finger in the third period of the Blackhawks' 3-2 victory over Edmonton.
