The Penguins locked up their only remaining restricted free agent today, signing defenseman Ryan Lannon to a one-year contract. Financial terms were not immediately known. Lannon, 24, played 68 games last season for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL. He is expected to contribute at that level this season. Lannon was an eighth-round pick in the 2002 entry draft. A veteran of 142 AHL games, he has yet to play in the NHL.
