Hart Trophy winner and new team captain Sidney Crosby and his young teammates will continue to have a steady veteran presence from which to receive guidance. The Penguins on Friday brought back a pair of veterans Friday, agreeing to terms with right wing Mark Recchi and left wing Gary Roberts on new contracts. Terms were not disclosed, but TSN of Canada is reporting both deals are for one year, with the 39-year-old Recchi receiving $2 million and the 41-year-old Roberts being paid $2.5 million. Both players could have become unrestricted free agents July 1.
