Nashville Predators center Tommy Novak signed a three-year extension Monday in a deal that will see him remain with the club through the 2026-27 season.

Starting next season, Novak will earn $3.5 million annually to become the sixth-highest paid player on the roster. The 26-year-old had been set to become an unrestricted free agent, as he was on a one-year deal worth $800,000.
