Anaheim goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere wasn't as dominant against the Detroit Red Wings this year as he was in 2003, when he allowed just six goals in Anaheim's four-game first-round playoff sweep.
But, according to Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek, Giguere was the difference for the Ducks in the Western Conference finals, which the Wings lost 4-2.
"I hate to say that he played better than me, but maybe he did,'' Hasek said. "He played great. He stole Game 5, which was the key to the series.''
