Health should not be a concern to suitors of Sheldon Souray. According to a report by the Montreal Gazette on Wednesday, Souray underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder in New Jersey on Friday. Slated to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, Souray battled through a shoulder injury for much of the season and left the Canadiens' final game against the Maple Leafs on April 7 midway through the third period after a collision with Mats Sundin. The 30-year-old defenseman underwent an MRI the following week, which proved the need for surgery.
