Blues forward Jori Lehtera will be sidelined for six to eight weeks after recent surgery on his right ankle, the team said Monday.

Lehtera had surgery on Aug. 4.

The Blues said Lehtera was injured at the end of the season. St. Louis was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Wild.

Lehtera played in 75 regular-season games in his first NHL season and had 14 goals and 30 assists.
