The Rangers have agreed to a one-year deal with free-agent forward Jarret Stoll, the team announced Monday.

Stoll, a member of two Stanley Cup-winning teams with the Kings, saw his production decline from 27 points two seasons ago to just 17 last season.

He was charged with felony cocaine possession after being caught with drugs at a Las Vegas pool in April. He pleaded guilty to reduced misdemeanor charges relating to the incident and was sentenced to probation and 32 hours of community service.
